Registration Information

In 2006 Expanding Your Horizons piloted a new online registration option for girls and parents interested in attending the conference. This year, online registration is an option yet again. Anyone with access to the Internet is welcome to register online. This online form was designed for us by the brilliant folks at razorbox.com and in partnership with PayPal.com. Read the instructions below about how to proceed.

If, for any reason, this option will not work for you, you may still register using the paper and pen option - use the form on the preprinted brochure or by printing the registration form on this website, fill it in and pop it into an envelope addressed to our mailbox below. Read the instructions below about how to proceed.

How to register for all workshops

Girls: Choose workshops that offer new and different challenges and Expand Your Horizons! Choose three workshops, a first, a second, and third choice from EACH of Column A, Column B, and Column C. You should have a total of nine possible sessions. Once you have read through the list of workshops and made your selections, you are ready to register.

Please know that while we will try to honor your specific requests, it is not always possible. You may be lucky enough to experience an unexpected learning opportunity!

Online

Online registration, click HERE to proceed to the secure online registration forms. Complete the form and select your payment option using PayPal.com. This is our online registration option.

By Mail

Use the preprinted brochure form which was distributed throughout Thurston County. Complete it and mail it in as soon as possible.
OR
Print the registration form or print the pdf version of the brochure. Complete it and mail it in as soon as possible.

Fees

The conference fee is only $12. For parents attending the Parent Workshop there is an additional $12 fee. These fees include all materials and snacks. Fees are non-refundable and not pro-rated. Scholarships are available. Pre-registration is required and there will be no on-site registration. If you are registering online, you will use PayPal to pay the conference fee. If you are registering by mail, please send your check payble to Expanding Your Horizons with the registration form to:

Please register as soon as possible because workshop requests are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We will try to honor your specific requests, but it is not always possible. To receive notification of registration please register by October 13, 2008. However, we will accept registrations until the conference is full or by October 27, 2008. There will be NO on-site registrations accepted.

Additional materials

As each participant arrives she will be given a name tag and confirmation of the clases she is assigned to in an information packet. The conference information packet contains a map of campus and assorted goodies such as pens, pencils, paper, and fun surprises.
